The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a special moment over the weekend as they celebrated Archie’s christening.
Although Meghan and Harry opted for a smaller ceremony they still made sure everybody who is important to their family was invited including the late Princess Diana’s sisters.
Meghan and Harry shared portraits on their Instagram page from Archie’s baptism this past weekend.
In the photos, you can see the happy couple with their new baby, along with aunt and uncle Kate Middleton and Prince William, grandparents Prince Charles (Harry’s father) and Doria Ragland (Meghan’s Mother).
However, two women standing front and centered behind the new parents are honoring the late Princess Diana.
The two women are Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale the sisters of the late Princess.
Harry is paying tribute to his mother’s memory by including his aunts in the portraits it shows the lasting impact Diana has on his life and the lives of his children.
Robert Jobson, Royal author, and a journalist reported that “Lady Jane Fellowes was one of the first family members to meet baby Archie.”
Harry and Meghan continue to show that Diana’s memory will always be held close to their hearts and they seem to want Archie to have the continuing influence of Diana’s life on his.
